Adult Choir
This choir meets for choir
practice on Sunday afternoons at 4:00 in the choir suite. The choir sings songs
in the worship services that uplift and magnify Jesus Christ. They sing a
variety of Christian music ranging from Southern Gospel to Contemporary
Christian.
Youth Choir
The youth choir meets for choir
practice on Sundays at 5:30 in the sanctuary. This is for grades 7-12. They
sing periodically in the evening worship services. They primarily sing
Contemporary Christian music.
Children’s
Choirs
Our church has three graded
children’s choirs. All children’s choirs meet at 5:00 on Sunday afternoon. The
preschool choir meets in the children’s building, the 1-3 grade choir meets in
the children’s building, and the 4–6 grade choir meets in the choir suite. The children learn about Jesus and the
fundamentals of music. They sing periodically in the Sunday morning and evening
worship services.
Instrumental
Ensemble
This ensemble is comprised of
band instruments, such as; trumpets, trombones, clarinets, etc. They meet for
practice on Sunday mornings at 9:15. This group plays the offertories in the
morning worship services.
Ensemble
and Quartet
Our
church has an ensemble and a quartet that practices and sings on a
non-scheduled basis. These groups sing periodically in the Sunday morning and
evening worship services.
Soloist
Each
Sunday morning and evening we have a soloist that sings prior to the pastor’s
message.
Musicals
and Cantatas
The
Adult and Children’s Choirs present musicals and cantatas periodically
throughout the year. Most musicals and cantatas are presented at Easter,
Christmas, and the Fourth of July.
